Photoshop - Animal Skin Swap #1

Lhino
Lhino Layers
Rhino
Leopard

Steps
1. I searched for a Rhino and a Leopard that are in a similar position

2. Then I  open the Rhino -mask it out
then "place embedded" the leopard, mask it out
Use opacity on the leopard to get the same size the two animals.
Try to match body parts.

3. Choose Filter, Liquify when on the Leopard layer.
Make sure to checkbox Show Backdrop. Then use: drop-down to Rhino.
I adjusted the opacity to see both around 50%.
Then I warped the leopard skin to match the rhino.
Parts that stick out too much are removed later.

4. Then CTRL click the Rhino MASK then paint with black on the Leopard MASK.
After that I chose SHIIFT-ALT-I then painted with white around the Leopard to remove the extra parts.
On the Leaopard layer I chose the blending option 'multiply'
Then I added a new Adjustment Layer Brightness/contrast
I got the eraser tool and took off the leopard skin off the horns

5.Then I selected all my layers and duplicated them then merged them so I can add the background
in and only have to show 1 layer rather than a bunch

Gorrila

Steps:

  • I started with a layer mask on the Dog, a gorrila, a cheetah, and a squirrel to cut out the background
  • refined it with the paint brush (using black)
  • I then cloned away certain parts of the animal and connected them to each other wherever it fit
  • Create an adjustment layer to colour balance the cheetah, squirrel and dog to try and match it to the gorrilla
  •  but erase away the excess colour and blended it in using the eraser tool and changed the opacity on the adjustable layer
  • bright areas of the gorrilla, dog, cheetah, and squirrel with the DODGE tool
  • burn in extra shadow on the gorilla layer with the BURN tool
  • I duplicated all 3 layers - hid the originals - then merged the copies (merge visible)
  • rename Douilla
  • Select the Douilla- selection tool then mask it
  • add a new background layer under the Douilla layer

Photoshop Morphing- CrocoFrog

Photoshop Morphing- CrocoFrog

CrocoFrog

Layers

Original Frog

Original Crocodile
Steps:

  • To start I made a mask layer on the crocodile to cut out the background, I got into the smaller spots with the brush tool, on the black setting.
  • I then removed the eye and added the frog neck to the crocodile.
  • After that I created an adjustment layer to colour balance the crocodile head to match the body of the frog. Also I erased away the green stuff between the teeth of the crocodile.
  • Next I used the Dodge tool to clean up the bright spots on the frog
  • To create a shadow I used the burn tool
  • I duplicated all 3 layers - hid the originals - then merged the copies. I renamed the layer to crocofrog.
  • Then I added  a new background layer under the CrocoFrog layer
  • I inserted my background by dragging it in to the photshop tab
  • Then I adjusted the CrocoFrog size as necessary
  • And lastly added my watermark.
